Responsibilities
As an Account Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Acting as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
- Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting client relationships
- Negotiating contracts and closing agreements to maximize profits
- Developing trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
- Ensuring the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
- Clearly communicating the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
- Developing new business with existing clients and/or identifying areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
- Forecasting and tracking key account metrics, such as quarterly sales results and annual forecasts
- Preparing reports on account status
- Collaborating with the sales team to identify and grow opportunities within the territory
- Assisting with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of assigned customers, developing new business from existing clients and actively seeking new sales opportunities. You will also need to liaise with cross-functional internal teams, such as Customer Service and Product Development, to improve the entire customer experience.
